The Bristol County Bar Association (BCBA) is forming a Young Attorneys Division

Posted by Kevin Whitaker on November 23, 2008

Alumni: The Bristol County Bar Association (BCBA) is forming a Young Attorneys Division. The Young Attorneys Division will be a social networking group meeting monthly to allow its members the opportunity to meet their professional peers. The first social event is scheduled for Friday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. at Freestone’s City Grille Restaurant located at 41 William Street in New Bedford; beginning in January 2009 a social event will be held at Freestone’s on the last Friday of each month starting at 5:30 p.m.

Although sponsored by the BCBA, at this time BCBA membership not required to join the Young Attorneys Division.  The BCBA believes that a Young Attorneys Division will be a valuable resource for young attorneys practicing and/or living within Bristol County who may not know or be able to interact a lot with other young attorneys in the area, and hopes that you will take this opportunity to meet fellow young attorneys and that you will spread the word to others and bring your fellow young attorney friends on December 5th.

This Career Forum will be an alumni panel discussion on alternative legal careers including information on non-traditional job opportunities in
law-related fields as well as in fields outside the law.
