Posted by Kevin Whitaker on February 24, 2009

Join us for lunch at the Public Interest Career Forum next Thursday, February 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Larkin Courtroom.

The event helps kick off the year’s Public Interest Summer Stipend Program, and as such we are encouraging all students interested in the summer program or public interest law careers in general to come learn more about the field.  In addition to showcasing attorneys working in public interest careers, one of last year’s student stipend recipients will also join the panel to discuss his experience.

The panelists include an Assistant District Attorney, an Assistant Attorney General, and several legal services attorneys who will discuss summer internship opportunities in their organizations as well as their careers in as public interest lawyers.
